Variopac Pro – high-performance packing

VariopacPro stands for enhanced functional dependability, machine availability, ease of operation and extended lifetime.
For the ever-more-frequent change-overs that a packer has to cope with, it’s particularly important to be able to adjust the machine to the new dimensions swiftly and accurately. The lightweight, sturdy guide rails, with their high-precision adjustment scale, stand for easy handling, as well as meeting the requirements for short change-over times and high reproducibility of the settings. The compensation belt between the film wrapping station and the shrink-tunnel now features active belt control, and a rolling blade, which significantly extends the belt’s useful lifetime, particularly in the high output range. Likewise, the shrink-tunnel has been modified to accommodate the new, increasingly important aspect of pack-forming. New, ever-thinner films are being handled, which pose more stringent requirements for temperature control in the tunnel. This is achieved using an optimised control loop in conjunction with temperature probes featuring a high dynamic response.
