Krones PET line for ice tea in Kazakhstan

TOO Riks, part of the Kazakhstani holding company Alans Invest, has been having ice tea and alcoholic beverages like alcopops bottled under licence. Since business with these products is booming in Kazakhstan, particularly with ice tea, the management decided to invest in two Krones bottling lines, including a syrup room, and to produce these beverages itself. Krones has supplied a 12,000-bph PET line for cold-filling ice tea in 0.5-litre and 1.5-litre bottles, plus a glass line for bottling alcoholic beverages, particularly alcopops, rated at 6,000 bph with reference to the 0.33 and 0.5-litre sizes.
Krones also installed the syrup room for producing the ice tea and the alcopops, including the refrigeration system and two Contiflow mixers.
Due to space constraints in the hall, the PET line features mechanical BLOC-synchronisation between the Contiform S blow-moulder, the Sensometic VPG-L-PET long-tube filler and the Canmatic labeller for precut wrap-around paper labels. The entire BLOC can be operated by a single person.
