LitePac – EvoLite

LitePac is a new packaging concept for PET bottles, which represents an alternative to shrink-wrapped packs with film wrapping. LitePac is based on strapping the pack with a PET strap, as is well-known from use in other packaging tasks.

Strapping technology is employed in many fields and it has established itself there. For transport purposes, a handle of PP strap is attached which is drawn dia-gonally across the pack.

The EvoLite packaging machine is used to produce the LitePac pack. The machine consists of a container infeed module for two-lane distribution and grouping of the containers (from the Variopac modular component system) and a strapping module to combine the container groups to the compact packs with strapping and handle.
