Safe, gentle and efficient – spirits on their way to the consumer
Nolet in Schiedam, Holland, is renowned for its genever Ketel 1 and the Ketel One vodka. The family firm is preparing the next steps towards expansion by increasing its filling capacities with another line rated at 14,000 bph.
When it comes to palletising, the company, which prioritises maximum quality of the products as well as of the applied technology, relies on the bulk-glass sweep-off depalletiser Pressant 1N, rated at 14,000 0.75-l bottles and 9,800 1.75-l bottles an hour. This field-proven technology is characterised by its gentle container handling and high flexibility during format changeover.
The filled and labelled bottles are fed to the Wrapapac W45 carton packer by means of a buffer table. Depending on the destination of the bottles, they are packed into cartons or full-depth displays, with dividers, if required, to achieve a high degree of safety in transit. A Pressant Universal palletiser combines the packs to layers that are stacked on pallets.
Krones packaging technology is based on continuous product guidance and the integration of servodrive technology. Precisely-shaped packs with a high-quality visual appearance provide perfect product presentation and optimal protection during transport. The modular machines are supplied for different output ranges and can be retrofitted with the appropriate modules for handling new packaging tasks.
