Volker Kronseder was appointed Executive Board Chairman of Krones AG in 1996. A business engineering graduate, he joined the company in 1981, and held a series of commercial management posts in Germany and abroad. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 1989.

Christoph Klenk has a degree in mechanical engineering, and joined Krones in 1994. Following spells as Regional Manager Asia/Pacific and Head of Marketing, he was from 2003 to 2011 responsible on the Executive Board for research and development, and design and divisions.
Rainulf Diepold

Sales
After obtaining a degree in economics, Rainulf Diepold joined Krones in 1983 to train as a sales engineer. Following several posts in sales and senior management, he was appointed a permanent member of the Executive Board in 2000.
Werner Frischholz

After-Sales Service and Quality Assurance
After being awarded degrees in mechanical engineering and business management, Werner Frischholz joined Krones in 1974 as part of the plant management team in Nittenau, and in 1995 was appointed Head of Materials and Process Management. He has been a member of the Executive Board since 2003.
Thomas Ricker
Research and Development
Design and Divisions
Thomas Ricker, a mechanical engineering graduate, has been with Krones since 1994 as part of the design and development team, most recently from 2006 until 2011 as a senior department manager and Head of Research and Development. He was appointed to the Executive Board in 2012.
