Centre of attention: KRONES’ twin-flow process
At the Anuga FoodTec 2012, Krones showcased its corporate capabilities in terms of treating and filling liquid food. There was keen interest in the new twin-flow process, which the trade visitors could view on the stand. By developing sophisticated and field-proven systems for process technology, Krones has put the preconditions in place for enabling fruit consistency in its various manifestations to be gently and affordably prepared, with minimised damage rates, and admixed to the finished product.
Other exhibits included the latest addition to the Evoguard family of valves: aseptic models that combine safety with cost-efficiency. Krones is now also able to provide the process and filing technology for aseptic operations with appropriate valves manufactured in-house. Accolade for the Boreas wort stripping system Within the framework of the Anuga FoodTec, the German Agricultural Society (DLG) presented Krones with the International FoodTec Award in Silver. This accolade went to the Boreas wort stripping system, which provides substantial energy savings and improves the beer quality. The DLG singled out a total of 19 innovation projects from the food and beverage industries, together with their suppliers.
