Krones SIPS – Strategic Intelligent Plant-Maintenance System

For normal and preventive maintenance, Krones has developed SIPS (Strategic Intelligent PlantMaintenance System). Thanks to the basic information on all line data which is already integrated in the system, this enables consistent maintenance planning. Optionally, you will receive a yet filled system that is set up to perform the next task in the line. This also inlcudes parts which exist outside the Krones scope of supply.

The respective preventive services of SIPS can prevent unplanned line standstills or reduce them to a minimum. The individually configured system includes initiating factors for maintenance works such as operating hours, switching cycles or calendar-related data. In addition to work instructions and work orders, reports and messages are aids for coordinated maintenance.

The result is maintenance fully based on the production plan, which is available to all decision levels providing comprehensive information on line efficiency and line service life. With the additional spare parts management system module, there is a management system available for spares in the small parts warehouse offering additional data for warehouse optimisation.
