Fobber upgrade for optimum oxygen values

Achieving tangible qualitative improvements by relatively simple means: upgrades are sometimes the obvious answer. The Krones HDE fobber is suitable and available for all fillers from any manufacturer as a retrofit and upgrade option. It ensures optimum oxygen and air values in the bottleneck by providing the appropriate pressure and velocity in each station, thus producing an extended and more consistent product shelf-life, thanks to less oxygen in the neck of every bottle.
Pressure and velocity can be adjusted to suit any carbonated beverage being bottled, even in response to changing temperatures. This can be done automatically by selecting the type setting and parameters filed in the control system. During ongoing operation, too, the fobber can be re-adjusted at any time. In addition, it reduces the number of underfilled bottles in the event of emergency stops and subsequent restarts. Retrofitting the fobber to an existing machine will usually take no more than one working day at most, so that given appropriate planning the line will not lose any production output.
