Packaging Equipment Quotation Specialist (m/f/d)* New Machine

Your tasks

Purpose of the Position

Act as the central technical expert in SA Corporate Quotation Management for Dry Part equipment, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication across all areas of the quotation process. Utilize in-depth technical knowledge to enhance system interfaces and media data, thereby securing technical advantages and maintaining order backlogs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Provide support and advice to Sales and other departments on technical questions.
• Ensure technical and timely clarification and preparation of quotations machines and systems. Define and optimize configurations (e.g., parameters, dimensions) according to Product Lines specifications.
• Serve as the main contact for responsible machines during the quotation phase and order clarification. Actively clarify questions from all parties involved, including internal teams and customers.
• Provide technical support and attend customer meetings at the plant or on-site.
• Document experiences and share them with colleagues. Transfer knowledge to new colleagues and support the onboarding process. Assist with strategic topics like mentoring, focus teams, workshops, and work packages.
• Building and developing regional technical know-how, developing guidelines for regional and global key accounts, etc.

Your profile

• Technical experience in packaging Equipment
• Completed studies or Bachelor or Master
• Ideally 3 years of specific professional experience
• Equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in other ways
