Manfred KaiserTawandang Brewery 1999 is building a new plant, and Krones is delivering three filling lines as well as the packaging equipment.
Tawandang 1999 is one of the youngest and most successful distilleries in Thailand, offering wide range of alcoholic drinks. Whether it be white spirit, brandy, or soju, all their products launched quickly turn into a hype in Thai market.
Cooperation between Tawandang 1999 and Krones started with the very first spirit line from Krones, then the second one. It was the successful partnership over the years that has somewhat proven itself: quality of technology and quality of Lifecycle Services lead to a recent confirmation on another Krones line for beer. Krones is honored to earn the trust and again become the supplier for the brewery to be built in Chainat, Thailand. The lines there will operate beer cans, glass bottle and kegs.

The new line in detail:
Both the non-returnable-glass line and the canning line are equipped with the latest filling technology, with the Modulfill HRS and Modulfill VFS-C, respectively. On the canning line, two packers – a Variopac Pro FS and a WTS – take care of secondary packaging. The glass line uses a Linapac II packer, two Variocart C carton erectors, and a Variocol carton sealer. The beer packaging center features another Variopac – this one the Pro W – and a Pressant Universal 1A palletizer.
