As Product Owner you are responsible for the development of innovative, marketable und profitable products within our IoT platform ecosystem. You are creating value through the product and develop strategies and tactics to reach the goals.

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the development of applications and services over their lifecycle on our plant-related IoT platform, which forms a core component of Krones’ digitalization strategy.
  • For your product, you define both long-term strategies and short-term sprint goals.
  • You will facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between Product Management and the technical development teams, ensuring efficient coordination and alignment. 
  • You coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding requirements and content and translate these into product goals, epics, and user stories.
  • Throughout the various phases of release and planning cycles, you organize and prioritize your product backlog.
  • Together with the team, you ensure consistency in process and outcome and keep stakeholders informed with the help of review and planning events.
  • You create a team culture that supports effective and iterative collaboration towards a common goal.

Your profile

  • You have the willingness and ability to delve deep into technical topics to fully understand customer requirements for our products and platform (e.g., new/improved use cases, enhanced authentication and authorization, customer accounts, notifications).
  • You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience as a Product Owner, during which you have worked in cross-functional teams.
  • You bring experience in planning strategies and business cases for products.
  • You possess knowledge in Product Owner relevant methods like Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup, and agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban).
  • You have practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and various plugins.
  • As an innovative decision-maker, you enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
  • Ideally, you already have experience in the digitization or MES environment and/or can score with a Scrum certification. 
  • You are fluent in both German and English.
