In 2026, Krones Digital Solutions India (KDSI) achieved a significant milestone by being recognised among India’s Top 100 Mid-Sized Great Places to Work.
For KDSI, this recognition carries special significance. Established in April 2023, KDSI is one of the youngest entities within the Krones Group. In less than three years, it has evolved from a newly established digital center into a trusted strategic partner, supporting the Krones Group’s digital transformation journey and simultaneously building a workplace culture that has now received national recognition.
This achievement is particularly noteworthy because the 2026 Great Place to Work assessment represented the first ever organisation-wide culture survey conducted at KDSI. Rather than relying solely on internal assumptions about employee experience, KDSI deliberately chose an independent third-party assessment to understand, validate and benchmark its culture against some of India’s best workplaces.
Employee survey: participation rate of 96 percent
The assessment is primarily based on employee feedback. At KDSI, participation reached 96 percent, ensuring that the results reflect a comprehensive and representative view of employee experience across the organization. In addition, a detailed culture audit evaluated leadership philosophy, people practices, innovative culture, wellbeing programmes and career development frameworks.
For KDSI, participating in the assessment was not only about recognition. It was a conscious decision to conduct a structured “health check” of its organisational culture after three years of rapid growth. During this time, the company expanded to more than 180 employees and established itself as a key contributor to the Group’s global digital roadmap.
A culture that promotes performance and engagement
The results confirm several core elements of KDSI´s culture: a strong focus on trust-based leadership, transparent communication, continuous learning opportunities and an inclusive, collaborative working environment. At the same time, initiatives such as flexible working models, wellbeing programmes and employee-driven innovation formats contribute to both performance and engagement.
For a company that is only three years old, this recognition is a powerful validation that building a high-performance organisation and a people-centric culture are not competing priorities – they are mutually reinforcing goals. At the same time, the award highlights the importance of employee voice, as it is based primarily on the direct feedback and experiences of the workforce.
For KDSI, the recognition marks not an endpoint but an important milestone in its development. It underlines the organisation’s ambition to continue strengthening its culture and to grow as both a technology partner and an employer of choice within the Krones Group.
