    Breast Cancer Awareness Month at System Logistics

    October is pink – and fittingly carries a pink ribbon as its symbol. Back in 1985, the American Cancer Society declared October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month to increase public understanding of breast cancer prevention and research. Since then, countless campaigns have taken place every year to advance the global breast cancer movement and save lives.

    This year, the Italian Krones subsidiary System Logistics was part of this worldwide initiative: On 21 October, employees hosted a meeting at the company’s headquarters, entirely dedicated to women’s health – with a special focus on prevention and the fight against breast and female genital cancers. Two gynecologists led the session, sharing valuable knowledge to raise awareness among participants about prevention, early detection and treatment of diseases affecting the breast, ovaries and uterus. With this initiative, System Logistics sends a strong message: Progress is achieved not only through technology but also by fostering an inclusive, caring and responsible society.
