Krones showcases end-to-end expertise for food and beverage production at Pack Expo International 2026

      00 - Article 60672

From hygienic product handling and efficient thermal processing to resource-saving solutions for bottling and packaging, food and beverage producers are facing increasingly complex production requirements. At Pack Expo International 2026, Krones will demonstrate how integrated technologies can help master these challenges. From October 18 to 22, 2026, the trade fair will open its doors at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, where the Krones Group will present its portfolio spanning the entire value chain.

Located in the South Building at Booth S-2536, Krones will highlight innovations in process technology, filling and packaging systems, with a particular focus on can and aseptic applications, alongside components and digital solutions designed to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability Across 500 square meters, Krones and several of its subsidiaries will be showcasing their capabilities. Alongside Krones, exhibitors at the booth include the US-based pump specialist Ampco Pumps as well as the European subsidiaries Perfinox, Evoguard, HST, CSW, Kosme and Netstal.

      Process technology in many forms

The Krones Group's expertise in process technology will be on full display at Pack Expo. Among the highlights are two systems from Perfinox. PERFITECH is an all-in-one processing system for mixing, emulsifying, cooking, and cooling high-viscosity food products such as hummus, cream-based products with particulates, and desserts. The heating and cooling of these products can be performed using the PERFITHERM scraped surface heat exchanger, which provides efficient heat transfer while ensuring gentle product handling. Optimized for high-viscosity applications, it is also suitable for lower-viscosity products such as sauces, soups, and dairy concentrates.Additionally, Krones and HST will be highlighting the HLI series of high-pressure homogenizers. With an integrated, compact design, the HLI homogenizer places efficiency and quality at the forefront of processing to ensure a uniform, fine product structure in sensitive beverages and liquid food products. The individual process steps are connected by components from Ampco Pumps and Evoguard. At Pack Expo International, visitors will find a broad portfolio of pumps and valves designed to ensure safe, efficient and hygienic product handling throughout the entire process chain. Visitors can explore Ampco Pump’s broad lineup of high-performance pumping, mixing, and blending technologies, including the market-leading ZP3 Series circumferential piston pumps and the powerful SHEAR-max Inline High Shear Mixer.

Smarter pasteurization and integrated can handling

When it comes to bottling and packaging technology, the spotlight is firmly on cans, particularly when it comes to preserving canned beverages. With LinaFlex eSync, Krones is reimagining pasteurization. The tunnel pasteurizer delivers a pasteurization process with precise PU control and efficient resource utilization while reducing footprint and complexity and improving accessibility. Krones will showcase exactly what this means with an exhibit at the booth. Complementing the canning theme, Krones will also present a can-lid feeding system from its subsidiary CSW. Combined with the company's Modulfill filler series and Modulseam seamers, Krones offers a fully integrated canning solution from a single source.

Krones' expertise naturally extends beyond can packaging. Visitors can explore additional competences at the company's presentation forum. Each day of the show, concise presentations will provide insights into process technology and LinaFlex eSync as well as aseptic applications and Ingeniq, Krones' revolutionary line concept for the future. The complete presentation schedule will be available on the Krones website beginning in mid-September.
