System Logistics and Krones: together for the first time at the BrauBeviale

      00 - Article 3102
The automated guided vehicles supply the production line with raw, processing and operating materials, and convey the finished product both to the warehouse and to the dispatching zone – all without any intervention by an operator.

System Logistics is a leading, internationally operating vendor of innovative solutions for intralogistics, material flow technology, and warehousing – and has as from this year been a member of the Krones Group. At the BrauBeviale 2016, the two companies will for the first time be showcasing their corporate capabilities for the public together.t.

System Logistics’ focus is on the food and beverage industries: in the past, the company has already designed some of the world's largest automated warehousig systems for the soft-drink and beer sectors. Its competences lie in the planning and construction of fully automated warehousing , order-picking and material-flow systems, which include high-speed shuttles, conveyors and automated guided vehicles.

      System Logistics’ solutions include:

      - AS/RS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System): used for managing pallets

      - MOPS (Modular Order Picking System): fully automated modularized order-picking system that can easily handle high quantities of different product and package types

      - FRS (Fast Rotation Storage): storage system used as a buffer before shipment as well as for high-density storage

      - AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle): driverless transport system controlled by laser guidance technology

Live at the BrauBeviale: automated guided vehicles

Visitors to the BrauBeviale can see these with their own eyes. The automated guided vehicle transports pallets, plus steel, plastic or wooden bins of different sizes – without an operator behind the wheel.

System Logistics’ Warehouse Management software, too, supports the operators in their daily work: it enables them to verify the current goods inventories and the material movements involved, plus the loading and unloading operations, to locate goods, to determine storage positions, accelerate order-picking operations and create detailed reports.
