Yesterday’s Women@Krones event in Neutraubling drew over 100 in-person attendees, with nearly as many joining online – highlighting the importance of women’s mental health. The topic of “mental load,” or balancing work and personal planning, remains especially relevant for women.
For this reason, the Women@Krones event organizing team together with Krones’ Health Management invited Elfi Dressler to Neutraubling. She is, among other things, a mental health coach and reminded the participants during her keynote how essential it is to show more self-care: listening inwardly, paying attention to one’s own needs, and above all not being too critical of oneself – the tips and lifehacks she shared were by no means new, but too often get lost in the hamster wheel of everyday life. She also motivated the women with small live exercises to give themselves more attention and to use their own resources wisely, in order to strengthen and improve their own emotional, mental, and social well-being.
“Standing Firm Despite Headwinds” with an internal programme series
Dealing with one’s own mental health has been a central focus at Krones for many years – not just for female employees, but for everyone! Since 2021, for example, the company has conducted surveys among employees in Germany to identify psychological stress in the workplace – most recently in Neutraubling with around 8,000 participants!
One of the many follow-up measures Krones also offers is a programme literally translated as “Standing Firm Despite Headwinds”, which Stefanie Rothbächer from the Health Management Team presented to the participants yesterday. The programme is aimed at various target groups, for example, those in production, office roles, or leadership positions, and is designed to focus on the individual work situation. The goal: to strengthen employees’ stress management skills and provide them with practical tools for self-help or promote mental health awareness in the long term.
