Deputy General Manager has full responsibility to ensure revenue and sales growth, people management and overall branch operations of the Ethiopian Office. The Deputy General Manager will provide strategic leadership towards the growth of the Ethiopian office.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Full responsibility to ensure revenue and sales growth, people management and overall branch operations of the Ethiopian Branch
• Full responsibility of the financial management of the branch and alignment of all legislative law and full reporting to Krones LCS Center East Africa
• Establish and maintain close business relationships to all Ethiopian customers and provide effective customer solution on Krones equipment
• Establish and maintain close business relationships with all key stakeholders in Ethiopia to ensure continuity of the business, i.e banks, suppliers, consultants etc.
• Increase overall sales activities like new machine business and LCS and increase the market share of Krones business
• Representative of Krones to customers, authorities and staff in the country
• Organization architecture and resource planning to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of business processes and distribution
• Implementation of strategic targets into manageable and effective processes within the business and develop initiatives to sustainably increase turnover
• Understand and enforce internal and external regulations and polices while ensuring compliance to audit requirements
• Manage, motivate and supervise the branch staff
• Analyze, implement, monitor and constantly improve interdisciplinary work processes and procedures
• To identify and analyse local developments of the market, market trends and competitor activity

Your profile

Qualification and experiences

• Technical or economics degree (technical college, university, masters), or well-founded knowledge of engineering and business management
• Minimum of 5 years’ business management experience and intensive professional knowledge of industry sector. • Minimum 3 years in leading and managing a team
• Knowledge of Krones portfolio (preferable) • Talent and organization management • Managing culturally diverse teams
