Your tasks

  • You develop cross-divisional processes and strategies, primarily for the sustainable quality of shop floor data (machines and systems).
  • You work closely with data stakeholders in various areas to define data standards and ensure compliance with them.
  • You support the evaluation of the accuracy and release of shop floor data
  • You establish best practice concepts for software development in automation systems to ensure sustainable data quality
  • You create a strategy for the versioning of software components in the context of data provisioning.
  • You coordinate global regulatory data topics (e.g. Data Act) and can derive measures for the concrete implementation of our machines and systems.
  • You coordinate developments in the context of shop floor data.
  • You ensure the transfer of knowledge for company divisions and are the contact person for shop floor data.

Your profile

  • You have experience in setting up processes, roles and responsibilities in the context of data governance and quality assurance.
  • You posses extensive experience in automation technology and data exchange between OT and IT.
  • You have experience in dealing with data, e.g. classification, documentation, definitions, structures, semantics, versioning.
  • You have project management skills, personal responsibility and the ability to drive initiatives forward independently.
  • Communication is easy for you in both German and English, as you are fluent in both languages.

Ideally you have knowledge of the following topics:

  • Weihenstephan standard and OMAC PackML.
  • Automation systems and OPC UA.
  • Transfer of data from the automation systems to cloud services (OT-IT).
